Government & Regulatory affairs
AFE has a dedicated Government & Regulatory Affairs team that is primarily focused on understanding and shaping the state and federal policies that will promote renewable energy technologies.
With energy policy being debated at all levels of government, AFE is well positioned to positively affect legislative and regulatory proposals to take full advantage of clean energy development opportunities. Through specific stand-alone legislative proposals, amendments, or earmarks to larger energy packages, the AFE Government & Regulatory Affairs team is active in the debate at all levels of government.
AFE is involved in legislative activities at the local, state, and federal level through the Public Service Commissions and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
